More Troubles For Amaechi As He Loses Another Cabinet Member And Close Ally.

The political household of the Rivers state Governor, Rotimi Amaechi is in another shock. This is coming as another aide has just walked out of the door. Marshal Uwom, Rivers state commissioner of housing has resigned his appointment. 

Uwom is the 3rd person to leave Amaechi’s cabinet after the resignation of the Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission, Azubike Merukini last week and the former Commissioner for Urban Development, Tammy Dana-Gogo last year.

While shedding more light foe the reasons the led to his resignation, during his recent press briefing, Uwom said, "series of recent developments, especially the decision of my boss, Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, to dump the Peoples Democratic Party for the All Progressives Congress formed the basis of my decision to leave the cabinet.>>>>

Rivers State Police Command Not Under Pressure To Release 6 Suspects – PPRO

Contrary to the speculations that came out stating that pressure is being mounted of Rivers State Police Command to release the 6 youths recently arrested by the Joint Task Force in the state, the Rivers State Police Command has come out and denied in strong terms the reports that it was under pressure to release the six suspects who were arrested by the Joint Task Force, JTF, last weekend, in Ogu Bolo Local Government Area of the state and handed over to it for further investigation>>>>

The issue of 2015 and rising of political tempo can not be swept under the carpet. We all recalled when ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo revealed in his letter to President Goodluck Jonathan last December that armed men were being trained secretly for 2015 elections, alot of us saw it as just an attempt to rubbish this Government. Also, last week, Governor Rotimi Amaechi cried out that desperate politicians in Abuja are moving arms into his state, again we all thought the guy is just talking like an opposition politician.

Stay Away From 2015 Polls – Prophet Olabayo Tells Jonathan Again!

The founder of the Evangelical Church of Yahweh, Lagos, Primate Theophilus Olabayo, has once again predicted that the country would experience more crises this year, warning President Jonathan not to contest the 2015 presidential election. The prophet, known for his annual predictions, some of which he claimed came to pass, said unless Nigerians embark on fasting and prayer, more political crises and killings would occur.

“This year, the worst type of terrorism is coming; and corruption if not checked will cause great problems. Corruption has taken over Nigeria and God is about to judge Nigeria. There is an angel that is going to cleanse this country once and for all. The seat of the president is vacant. If at all there will be election, I see a northerner becoming president. A BIG TWIST: Asari Says Jonathan Is Becoming A Big Failure

It was a twist of events recently as one of President Goodluck Jonathan's most vocal supporter, Asari Dokubo is now agreeing with Governor Rotimi Amaechi that President Goodlcuk Jonathan has failed South-South and Nigerians.

In a press conference in Abuja recently, Asari declared that President Jonathan has lost the support of his political base due to the failure of his government to deliver on its promises. The ex-militant leader said:

“I want to start with an Ijaw proverb, which says: the eyes watched its seven children to death. Instead of advising them, it was just looking at them until they died, while the mouth talked its only child to life and success. 

“We have continued as Ijaw people and the entire Niger Delta and South-South to support the presidency of President Goodluck Jonathan, but a time has come when silence cannot be golden.

Governor Rotimi Amaechi is known fto be a friend of the media. Recently, he stated that he is angry with the Federal Government because of the way Federal Government is treating Rivers People. He said Rivers State is responsible for the highest crude oil production in the country but President Goodluck Jonathan Administration has done so much to frustrate all his efforts. In his words:
