Since you took the risk, I have assumed the liberty to speak boldly even to your discomfort especially considering that we live in a season of grim when our country is greatly troubled. 65 Houses Burnt Down , scores Injured As PDP Supporters Clash In Benue State.

Hell was let loosed yesterday as about 65 houses burnt down, injuring many and rendering many homeless as crisis broke out between supporters of different factions of People’s Democratic Party, PDP. PDP in Loko, Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State.

The latest crisis in Katsina-Ala is coming on the heels of moves by the people of Loko and PDP to recall Mrs Hembadon Amena representing Katsina-Ala West constituency in Benue State House of Assembly over alleged anti-party activities.>>>>

Stay Away From 2015 Polls – Prophet Olabayo Tells Jonathan Again!

The founder of the Evangelical Church of Yahweh, Lagos, Primate Theophilus Olabayo, has once again predicted that the country would experience more crises this year, warning President Jonathan not to contest the 2015 presidential election. The prophet, known for his annual predictions, some of which he claimed came to pass, said unless Nigerians embark on fasting and prayer, more political crises and killings would occur.

“This year, the worst type of terrorism is coming; and corruption if not checked will cause great problems. Corruption has taken over Nigeria and God is about to judge Nigeria. There is an angel that is going to cleanse this country once and for all. The seat of the president is vacant. If at all there will be election, I see a northerner becoming president. It is a well-known fact that APC has being widely accepted in many states in Nigeria. But despite this wide acceptance, all appears not to be well in the house of the All Progressives Congress. This is because of power sharing and control of the party machinery between the new entrants and the old people who has been in the party since.

The chicanery that brought them together is what will scatter them ultimately. A house built with spittle would easily collapse at the fall of the dew.

Truth is, none of the letters truthfully addressed the issues of development. They were letters reeking with personal animosity and rabid vendetta. The common motive was simple and easy to decipher: who controls power and our commonwealth from2015, after the elections? No more, no less.>>>>

I am Ready To Return To The PDP If,...Governor Amaechi

Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State and Chairman of the Nigerian Governors' Forum, indicates his readiness to return to the Peoples Democratic Party in an APC rally..

The Governor spoke today at a rally organized by the All Progressives Congress at the Liberation Stadium in Port Harcourt. He stated among other things, that he is ready to go back to the PDP should President Goodluck Jonathan give back Rivers State the oil wells that were ceded to the neighbouring Bayelsa State.

The Governor clearly stated that although Jonathan received 2.1 million votes in the state in 2011 election, the Federal Government has not executed any project in Rivers State yet.

PDP LATEST: 2 APC Governors Attend Secret Meeting with PDP Governors And Jonathan

Is the defection of five PDP Governors to APC final? well, it appears not to be so. This is so because two APC Governors who earliar defected to APC from the PDP attended a secret peace meeting called by President Goodluck Jonathan at the Aso Rock presidential villa on Sunday night.

Governors Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano State and Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto State, were surprise guests at a close door meeting called at the instance of President Jonathan at the State House last night. Both Governors belong to the G5 who defected to the opposition APC a month ago.

The meeting began at about 10pm and lasted till the early hours of Monday.

PDP Crisi Hittend Under Bamanga: Party Begs Tambuwal Not To Abandon Jonathan

From all indications, if the signs are to be taken seriously, it is now very clear that the PDP may lose its majority in the House of Reps to the APC and this may be followed immediately by Senators once the leadership of the House of Reps is taken over by the APC.

As a result, President Goodluck Jonathan's men and top PDP officials, including Bamanga Tukur, have all been running from pillar to post, trying to convince the Speaker of the House of Reps, Aminu Tambuwal that he is their man and that they are ready to work with him if he could help save the situation. I May Contest Presidential Election in 2015... Okorocha

Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha yesterday spoke on his political future, hinting that he might take another shot at the presidency in 2015.

The governor, who spoke during a media chat with reporters at the Government House, Owerri, however, said there were pressures from his people that he should run for a second term to complete his projects.

He said having had a shot at the Presidency, the present political situation and the emergence of the All Progressives Congress (APC) might boost his chances of clinching the presidential seat.

The Battle For Who Controls The National Assembly Is Still On As 22 Senators Dump PDP for APC

The battle for the soul of The National Assembly is still on. The crisis of which over party will be in charge of the National Assembly has taken a new dimension. Only recently, a similar fracas took place in the House of Reps and it all seems that most of the members are are just waiting for the right time to make the announcement. Now the political power tussle has shifted to the senate where 22 senators elected on the platform of the PDP are said to be on their way to join the APC, thus increasing the chance of the leading opposition party.

“As we speak, those of us who have made up our minds to seek a new platform for our political future are not fewer than 22 in this Senate,” said a PDP senator who's set to join APC.

According to a report by Sahara Reporters, President Jonathan and First Lady Patience Jonathan, checked into a German hospital yesterday December 4th. The president left Abuja yesterday to attend a summit on Peace and Security in Africa organized by the French Government but Sahara Reporters claim a source in the presidency told them that the president left Nigeria due to health problems..

Contrary to the impression created that the trip was exclusively for the French-sponsored security summit, Mr. Jonathan and his wife will undergo tests and receive treatment in the same German hospital where his wife spent several months last year.

Our source added that the Nigerian president had been feeling unwell since returning from a recent trip to London where he was hospitalized for a serious stomach-related ailment. SaharaReporters had disclosed that the president fell seriously ill after a bout of bingeing on alcohol in celebration of his birthday.

Nigeria;s First Couple, President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience Jonathan, have both been admitted in a hospital in Germany as a result of a yet to be disclosed ailment.

This happened on Tuesday night, when The President was abruptly flown out of Abuja ostensibly to attend a Summit on peace and security in Africa organized by French government. Several ministers and service chiefs accompanied him to the airport for the late night flight, but only a handful of officials traveled on the actual flight.

A reliable source at the Presidency told Sahara Reporters that, contrary to the impression created that the trip was for the French-sponsored security summit, Jonathan and his wife are undergoing tests and receiving treatment in the same German hospital where Patience spent several months last year.

What Would Happen If Buhari Becomes President Of Nigeria?

For a long time, the voice of General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) has been a constant buzz on the Nigerian political scene. Actually, for a while — after the election of 2007 — the erstwhile autocratic military head of state rescued himself from the political scene, complaining bitterly and implausibly that he had been cheated out of presidential election victory.

Then, propelled by his unfulfilled appetite for power, he re-emerged soon after. It is entirely understandable that he couldn’t stay away for long...

Any observer of the Nigerian political scene in 1984 has to know that Buhari is a man with an imperial bent and an oversized ego. During his short-lived tenure as Nigeria’s military head of state, he imposed his will as no other had done before or after.

His War Against Indiscipline (or WAI) permeated every aspect of Nigerian life, for better and for worse. He brooked no dissent. His Decree No. 4 was as draconian a law as Nigeria has ever witnessed. Under the decree, many a journalist was imprisoned for questioning Buhari’s policies or even inveighing against military rule.
